In a competitive championship where all managers are level 17+ DRS train ruin all the fun because if you don't stay in group you lose doesn't matter how is your strategy.
It's not fun when 15 drivers finish within few seconds in a random position.... 

This is a long time problem, i was wondering if devs are planning to change something or they think this is not a problem. 

Imho DRS is too strong and it should be easy to overtake cause now it's almost impossible to pass other drivers unless you are in DRS zone

why not use your boost to pull away on other sections of the track?

i have indeed had ppl sitting in drs range for lap after lap even though i am a little faster they stay with me, i understand how it works and its all fine with me.

rather than remove things from the game things need to be added, add more set up options then its more likely ppl will have diff speeds and strategies.

Dan with all respect, you have done only 7 race in this game you don't have the experience to understand what i said. And you never had a race where the gap between 1th and 15th is 4-5 seconds... 

IT become all about random.
 
When you have 15-20 drivers and cars at the same level or very similar, it's all about random. 
This should be a manager game but i can't do nothing to try to be better than the others. 

Set up is a joke even after the update. 
DRS makes strategy useless. 
Players have very poor things to manage to try to make the difference 

I'm not complaining, i just would to know if devs are doing something or if they think those aren't problems. 

I know there are very few people behind this game and this is the reason if every update are so slow to show up

Dan with all respect, you have done only 7 race in this game you don't have the experience to understand what i said. And you never had a race where the gap between 1th and 15th is 4-5 seconds... Rather presumptuous comment. Managers are able to have multiple accounts in this game.

This should be a manager game but i can't do nothing to try to be better than the others. I have yet to have a race where the outcome is not a direct result of my management execution. I can choose to stay in a train or make moves off the train while keeping in mind my strats. There's no "catch-up-mode" in this game so if ppl are catching up with you, you're not exploiting your PL's to their potential.

Set up is a joke even after the update. Idk if you're a host but if you're not, you can suggest to your host to edit the season's schedule in such a way to make it impossible for anyone to max out before the end of the season.
DRS makes strategy useless.  Since this effect is equal to the entire grit, it comes down to planning and execution.

I'm not complaining, i just would to know if devs are doing something or if they think those aren't problems. Having played this game for over a year now, I can tell you the forum is a major data/feedback collection to incorporate to their upgrades.

I agree, all the more reasons to be extremely tactical about every update they introduce.

I do understand that most races running in a DRS train starts to feel limiting and got that urge for a change emerging, but the ones finally arriving in form of those all rain races, which provide the hardest challenge in fighting off a nap, also show that just no DRS isn't the change I'm looking for.

That said I strongly disagree in the statement that DRS trains make strategy worthless. Strategy and tactic is everything in them, unlike those rain races where it's mostly just car performance and some luck in Qualifying as long as strategy isn't a complete mess. Whereas car performance takes the back seat with DRS as it 'merely' influences how tight you can go with some screws of strategy and still get away with it now to benefit from it then, even more so as its backed by performance.

For races being close and entertaining without DRS, outside those few leagues filled with evenly matched players, there needs to be something else pulling the field together but still allowing the manager decisions to count.

I believe that eliminating the kers and leaving only the drs in the game would be better, because everyone uses the kers to stay on the train and be able to use the drs. It would be fair for the driver to use only the Drs if he could follow the car ahead without needing help. Another thing, the Drs had to be on the same level for everyone. I know it is not a simulation game, but it is very unfair that a car with a lower level is harmed even in the drs




What!!?

You want everyone to be at the same level on DRS!!!???  You can do QR if equality is what you're looking for.  I mean, what would be the point of developing your HQ and car if we all have the same strength DRS. 

Yea, I would def go for eliminating the kers as well. Although it would make for a very long and boring race. There has to be a medium somewhere. We're all thinking from inside the box here(directly affected), we might need an outsider perspective to analyze and balance the pros and cons of it.
