That’s partly true.
Generally, avoid pitting with every one else.
If there is other car at the same time, you get slowed down, the amount depend on where you and others have to park.
Then, avoid pitting your 2 drivers together, since the first one might slow the other, unless you have something like at least 6 seconds between them so that the first one can park and go without blocking the other one.
/!\\ I am not entirely sure how double pit work, like if you need at least 3-5 seconds between car stops so that pit crew can get the tyres. /!\\
