Race viewer (PC) ruins race

What did you try to do?
Hit the boost button, got stuck.

What happened instead?
Hit boost, but got stuck. Wasted ca. 20-30% of boost on one driver and maybe 5-10% on the other.

The same thing happened to me, if im using the kers of the two drivers through the 'S' and 'K', when I release, at least 1 will keep spending. Using only 1 at a time this doesn't happen.

With the old interface this never happened, this is an extremely essential thing to do in a race.

Yep the same thing happened to me as well. Sometimes the game doesn't let you change push levels while boosting or it takes a while before it does, which in turn causes the tyres to overheat (in my case). 


On a side note: beside the more accurate time measurement the new race viewer doesn't improve the gameplay imo. I liked the old one better. But that's just my personal opinion and preference. 

Isn't your opinion, it's a fact, a new interface can't make the functions worst, the new is bad for reading values and worsened the gameplay functions. How something new come to make the gameplay worse? This doesn't make sense, should be tested before it is applied to the game.

Tonight was the 1st race of my league and, as usual , I switch between drivers through my iPhone app. The issue was: whenever I used kers in my 2nd driver, the 1st driver kers bar was consumed as if he had used too, but he was not

There are still some issues that devs. are addressing and solving such as the use of kers/boost and keyboard keys.
Both will be solved in the next version. And it will allow the user to activate the use of more than one key and the correct use of kers/boost.

A driver from another team did not have kers. I can verify this. https://igpmanager.com/app/d=driver&id=7066867&tab=attributes It appears kers came alive after he linked/unlinked his drivers.

In this thread I wanted to ask about a problem that I have been seeing for several weeks, practically since I returned to play igp a month ago and little.

Before, I noticed a greater fluidity and, above all, it hit the Kers and it immediately worked, everything depended on your reaction.

No however, a delay passes from when I hit it until it reacts and KERS turn on and in competitive leagues that causes them to take away drs and well ... we already know that this IGP is based on taking DRS.

I have had similar issues since the new hud came out. boost freezez on at least once a race, sometimes no sound is generated from the game, which seems only fixable by reloading, which you dont always have time to do, and today boost didnt deploy at all when I pushed the button, costing me dear. Also drivers have somtimes randomly linked for no reason, wasting more boost. this is killing the competiveness of the season and I had NONE of these issues EVER pre-hud. I appriciate  this will take a few days to fix, but the update should not have been released with this many issues.

also today happened I clicked a little on KERS to get into the DRS in the end everything was spent and my fight for points is over, and on 14 LVL so it is difficult to fight with higher levels

I was having same chugging issue. I have raced on IGP for almost 3 years now. I have used 80 percent of the time the same WiFi and phone that I use to race. The past two live races on league ID 7674 I had such bad chugging stop and go issues while racing live. Yesterday’s race I thought maybe weather in my area and it was so bad I couldn’t race live at all. I lost a lot of reputation points, game money and points in my league. today was a clear day in my area and even tho the chugging and lag continued all race. I pushed through it but very difficult to race like that. I don’t have WiFi issues normally so I am wondering if it’s server related. Nobody else in my league that I know of is having this issues. Let me know what I can do.

This is usually due to a loss of synchronization between the player's device and our service.
This could be due to any number of problems in the connection between you and us.
In your case I wonder what could have happened, being a player for a long time and if you've never seen it, I would suspect that something happened to the quality of the connection given the global situation that probably doesn't help. 
Not all connection providers are able to provide a constant connection flow and sometimes spikes can affect the connection between server and client.
I had this experience for a week with real blockages and delays, now it seems to be back to normal.
This is what I can tell you.

Today’s race was abit better. I had a few laps here and there where I had some chugging going on. But hopefully You are right and my issue doesn’t last much longer than those two really bad races. Thank you for your comment tho.

I was watching my race when my pilot Cesc Garcia started burning KERS like there was no tomorrow in the lap where KERS was enabled. Noticed when it had already burned 27% of the KERS (in the middle of two slow curves), so I pressed the KERS button trying to stop it (and it worked, it stopped).
I had my hands of the keyboard and the mouse in the middle of the circuit, so no way to have an accidental click

From my point of view was the kind of absurd waste of KERS that you see the AI doing from time to time, but while I was online and watching.
