Auction for Rudi Pereira

I recently bought a driver (Rudi Pereira).

I used the "Buy Now" option to buy him, costing 5.2m and 9 tokens. However, the purchase did not go through immediately, so I refreshed the page and clicked the button again. This time, it did go through, but I lost 18 tokens instead of 9. However, I did not lose double the money. (I lost 5.2m, not 10.4m)

Is it possible to be refunded 9 tokens or is this my mistake?
