Was their a new update where as you enter the pit lane your fuel and tyres will "lock" meaning you can't adjust your setup. If their is it has ruined the game for me because usually as I enter the pit lane my fuel load changes by itself a tiny bit (i.e from 12.4 to 11.9). This means that I can't adjust these small errors that happens and I end up underfueling for a stint which could cost me a good race point/win

I noticed the same thing, not sure it wasn't like that before.

The fuel change doesnt really mean anything as it will recover the fuel back over the next couple of laps so as long as you have enough fuel for your stint before the stratagie lock you will have enough for your stint

Yeah I feel exactly the same Mohamed. Everything that I can see from this new update has been great, apart from the locking in the pits. I have many questions as to why they would introduce this. As you said the fuel estimate changing has been around forever, but we have learnt to deal with it even though it is the most infuriating thing, in my opinion (apart from the pits themselves) about the game.

What if it starts to rain while just getting to the pits? All of us would be screwed! At least before you could make what could be crucial adjustments to your strategy, even as entering the pit lane, and therefore not getting caught out by the estimate or weather. Now we have no chance!

Whenever there is a cold race and the estimate changes as you enter the pits, (because we have to push to keep the tyre temps up) then we were able to adjust the fuel according to how much the estimate changed, even in a split second decision that would stop us from running out of fuel, now we are going to run out of fuel whether we like it or not if the estimate changes a drastic amount!

I really hope that someone realizes how much this has made the game somehow worse than before!
If you are not going to remove it then please at least add an option to disable it!

Recently I've really been losing motivation to play and enjoy this game and I know that there are many others that are giving up on iGP because of the pits deciding races almost each time and the VSC and yellow flags.

Thank you.

Anakin

In the past there were some anger about pit adjustments right before entering the pit, that were not executed. So if this lock prevents that error I am fine with it.

Regarding VSC and yellow flags: kick inactive managers and they are no longer a problem.

are you 100% sure tyres and fuel could be changed in the pits even before this update? Because I'm fairly certain that wasn't a thing or at least it didn't lock this early.

I think if it can be done, the lock  should be later.

But if we kick all of the inactive manages to prevent the VSC then all leagues would eventually become empty!

The most important aspect to keep this game alive are full leagues with people discovering a league that they like being a part of, but that takes time so if we kick them because they might be inactive then we are just losing players not gaining.

Not in the pit, a few seconds before entering. Some adjustments were executed correctly some not according to some threads here.

I dont really see the point in the new locking in the pits feature either, should have been left as it is in my opinion. But am really pleased with the rest of the update.

Good evening, Mohamed!

With the new update and the pit strategy lock, the aim is to avoid problems when selecting a tyre. So when the car is approaching the pit lane, the panel is lock. Therefore, you will have to prepare the next stint during the previous lap. Regarding fuel, I must say that it has not given me problems. Both when I tried it in the Beta version and now I have not had any problem. It is true that it can lower you from 11.2 to 10.8 but the liters of fuel usually stay the same.

iGP Manager is always looking to improve and that is what has been done with this update, avoiding the problems that occurred during stops and tyre selection.

Greetings!

Good evening, Anakin! :)

Many players complained and said that "the game" selected the wrong tyre for them during the stop. Others said they mistakenly selected the wrong one during the stop. To avoid all these problems this has been done.

It is true that at first it can be annoying, but you end up getting used to this new system. Regarding your hypothesis of what happens if it starts to rain when you are making the stop? I think it would be a bit of bad luck ... but it would add more excitement to the game. Sometimes unforeseen events make the race more crazy and fun. Anyway, it will be the same situation for all. Is like when starts to rain when you are leaving the pit lane...

However, iGP Manager always reads all their opinions and will surely consider for the future. Thanks for sharing your opinion.

Greetings
