There isnt 1 specific best engine, tyre, fuel supplier. It's something you as a manager need to manage and change as per your car design and what suits the track characteristics! All depends on your car design philosophy you go with in a season!

is it beneficial to change these supppliers then, as murk is +10 acceleration, so u are at 190, meaning ur then 200 with the +10, so change to another supplier, then lose that 10 back to 190 so have to use 10 DP to max it out once again when those points could b used elsewhere? maybe im thick and not grasping the philosophy behind it, but isnt that a waste of points??

This is all part of your development strategy. Murk give +10 Acc and -6 FE, overall is +4. Whereas Cosurworthit give +5 TE with no negative, overall +5.

Also with Murk you can never max out FE because of that -6. Admittedly this is no longer a consideration but it used to be when the design range was 0 - 100 and it was possible to max out all of the attributes in a 20 race season.

Finally, moving away from Murk and assigning 10dp to acceleration to take your core design to 200 can help with your research. If for example you move to say Tifosi you get 10 additional dp which won't reduce your braking research. I don't know if I've explained the concept very well but in a nutshell, clever use of suppliers can result in a greater yield of research dp without weakening your overall design for the next race. In a competitive league a few extra dp here and there can make a difference.
