ideal setup question

When I pay 3 tokens for the ideal settings, what exactly happens if it starts/stops raining in that 10 minutes period when the qualifying is happening? I know that before that period the ideal setup changes on its own, but what if the weather changes right before the start, does it change or not? I'd like to know in cases when the weather is really really unpredictable and I can make my own call instead of it being locked to the current ideal setup (that can easily change in 10 minutes just to ruin my race).

Also interested on this as to whether I’ve set up to ideal during rain a few hours before the race, then it’s a dry race, so do my settings automatically change in that instance?

if you mean that you paid 3 tokens, then yes, it changes automatically if it's before qualifying, if you did it manually then no, your setup won't be good for rain

but also it's better to do the tests 20-30 minutes before the race starts if you have the time to do that

he means in the qually period, will it change once its locked for us to change it, if say it rains during qually.

The ideal setup will continually adjust itself until practice locks and qualifying begins. After that point there's no modifications taking place to the setup.

This also means that once you purchase the ideal setup, it'll override any changes you make to the setup when saving.
