What is the Secret to Quali

I know that there is some sort of secret to quali and it is not random as one manager in my league tends to get pole way more than the others but is there something in development that affects quali pace that has been solved by the community

A good car , top driver and knowing what setting to be on

But yes a good car and a driver who can get that final little bit of time is crucial for qually. The problem is it is very difficult to know which drivers will do that with what the game shows you about drivers. So if I were a new player I would focus on car development and getting two drivers that at least qually together
