"Why is the fuel per lap in 100% Racing higher than 50% Racing, is a single lap not the same distance?"
The lap distance is the same and my data suggests fuel consumption is also the same.
Australia:
50% Race, Soft Tyres, FE 32, 17 degrees - 2.664 litres per lap
100% Race, Soft Tyres, FE 28, 12 degrees - 2.688 litres per lap
"Why do the softer compounds last so long, even on very high tyre wear tracks?"
I don't think they do. Even in 50% races if you're running soft tyres you're most likely going to need to do 3 stints on softs and 4 on SS
"Why are the Hard tyres 1.5 Seconds slower than the Soft tyres, when in modern times the gap between the Fastest and the Slowest is 0.8 Seconds?"
Because this isn't real life, it all depends on the numbers the devs put in the programme.
the problem is precisely the numbers that the devs put in the simulator ..... I think they put them by rolling the dice ....
