When training drivers it is a roll of the dice what abillity goes up, but the dice rolls a lot on fast corners, not much on the other abillities. My suggestion is that the manager can choose the abillity so that drivers can be more alround when the manager wants them to. On the other hand the manager can decide to "specialize" a driver. A driver with higher points on slow corners should do well on Monaco, a driver with higher points on fast corners should do better on Italy, etc.

There is nothing wrong with the current system and it doesn’t take very long to fully train a driver so a big no from me, sorry.
P.s. looking at your drivers you aren’t training them optimally which is part of the problem. Focus on one category at a time and max it before moving to the next category 1. max physical. 2. Driver abilities, 3. mental abilities.
