Car beamed to win race

Was hast du versucht zu tun?
We had a race in Great Britain today. On the last lap my car took P1 thanks to DRS.

Was ist stattdessen passiert?
The car in P2 or P3 was beamed close to the finish with two corners to go and won the race by 7.5 seconds.
The car did not cross the finish line but was just behind the last corner and stopped moving.
Is this a bug in the game or was the race displayed incorrectly? I've never seen anything like this before.

By the looks of the race results (which are usually right) your car pitted on the penultimate lap and gave up the lead to the winning car. Did you have the app open watching it the whole time?

I watched the race with this Account the last 15 laps and i saw what happened. Couldnt believe it

I think it was a desynchronise issue, he won because he got the right strat in those circumstances, one less pitstop
