How about reaching out to companies for sponsorship?
Companies like Amazon, Google, Mercado Libre (South America), BT (British Telecom), Tesco, Argos, Sony, Nintendo, TIM (Italy), Pirelli and much others could be potential sponsors.
These sponsors could have their advertisements displayed when managers log in or through other preferred methods.
The sponsorship money received by iGP would be converted into tokens as championship prizes:
1st place: 180 tokens
2nd place: 85 tokens
3rd place: 40 tokens
All other participants: 6 tokens each

*Valid only for Leagues with the maximum races possible per season (Or, if there are fewer races, the prizes should be proportional, with a maximum of 180 tokens per month.)
** Improvements for this idea is highly recommended
*** I think it's a win/win/win (iGP, managers and sponsors)

Yeah that would be nice if igp staff would have unlimited amount of time on their hands. I think you underestimate this, you need to pitch your idea, convince those firms that there’s a gain for them as well, they don’t just hand you the money

Fair point !!!
You're absolutely right! It takes time and effort to pitch an idea and show the value to those firms. I just think that if the potential gain is clear enough, it could be worth exploring. Maybe with the right approach, it could work!

(1)If you don’t have time, you need to maximize efficiency when reaching out to sponsors. Here’s a streamlined approach:

1. Create a Powerful One-Pager
A one-page document should include:
✅ What your business does (clear & concise)
✅ Why it’s valuable to them (specific benefits)
✅ Sponsorship options (tiered packages or ROI insight)
✅ Contact information (easy way to reach you)

This ensures sponsors quickly understand your value without meetings.

2. Leverage Pre-Written Pitches (Minimal Effort, Maximum Impact)
Write a short, strong email template (customizable for each sponsor).
Use LinkedIn & cold emails to reach decision-makers directly.
Keep it brief & direct (subject line: “Quick way to boost [their goal]”).

3. Use Video Pitches (Fast & Scalable)
Instead of meetings, record a 2-minute video explaining:
🎯 What your business does
🎯 How they benefit
🎯 Clear next steps
Send this video link in emails/messages.

4. Automate & Delegate
Use virtual assistants or tools like ChatGPT to help with outreach.
Automate follow-ups via email sequences (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).

5. Social Proof & Urgency
Mention any existing sponsors/partners (build credibility).
Create a limited-time opportunity to encourage quick action.

For one, I don’t like an ai generated answer, it shows me you don’t care enough to type it in.

And if you think chat gpt will be able to beat cash out of the big firms pockets without staff putting time and effort in, you do underestimate it greatly.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on AI @Slo Bro! However, let's keep the discussion focused on the main topic of this post, which is the Sponsors suggestion. Ultimately, it's up to the iGP staff to decide whether it's a good idea for now, the future, or not at all. If you or anyone else has suggestions to improve the idea, you all are more than welcome to share!

Dude, it was focussed on your suggestion, I just told you twice they don’t have time for this, they’re stretched to the limit in terms of hours in a day. So yeah, let’s see what igp staff decides on this.

Man, I hate talking to a computer, less a more i pls
