Once again, there was no promotion from the Pro League, and once again the car development points weren’t reset in the Pro League. This is already at least the fifth time in a row. No matter how many times I report it at the end of each season, it doesn’t make any difference. I’m exhausted. I’ve been playing this game for six years, but sadly I think this might be the end for me. Reporting anything feels completely pointless. Jack keeps dreaming about everything, but the problems just keep piling up. It would be much better if they focused on fixing the bugs first—only then would it make sense to look ahead.

I’ll be investigating this tonight. It is incredibly rare and my memory is that it has only occurred to 2–3 leagues ever. Each time I’ve reviewed the season and league code but found no consistent cause. It’s not a typical bug. Hundreds of leagues reset smoothly all the time. That doesn't just make it an intermittent bug, it's an exception to how everything works 99.9% of the time. That makes it super hard to trace.
One league that had this exact issue months ago even began working normally again without intervention!
I share your frustration, because when it strikes, it's consistent, every season as you say for the affected league. If we can’t fix it directly, one option might be to try cloning your league to see if that resolves it.
For the next few hours I'm going to keep it in the current (broken) state, so I can gather more data and see if there's any pattern to it or clues.

The reset has happened and promotion now.
Apologies for cutting it fine with the race start. I've given each of the promoted users 3 Tokens so you can buy an ideal setup before the race, no need to set up the car.

The good news is that for the first time ever, with this elusive bug, I was able to capture an error. The next question is where in the code it is, as the error message doesn't reveal that.
As an analogy, you could think of the error message like "a tyre has low pressure" with no indication of which tyre, and you can't read the pressures, but you can only look for anything on the tyres which might be causing one to lose air. I found one potential cause and fixed it.
It looks promising that this might be a solution to the problem. It can only be one of a few things.
Thanks for your patience. I understand how frustrating this must be. I'll mark this solved, and if it happens again next season, I will know where to look for solutions.
