I've purchased a technical director about 3 times now, but it doesn't have any effect. It's the same issue I was having with drivers a while back ( I reported that issue also).
Given that the timer is "..." this suggests your server or network is not connecting to the auction server. Please check that your firewall or network is not blocking it. This is typically what is happening in cases like yours.
The domain is bid.igpmanager.com and the port is 8001.
