Issues after coming back

Hello, community :)
I haven't been playing since October, but now when I have much more free time I decided to come back. The game is definitely growing in the right direction, new graphics look very slick, castom calendar is great and WOW even SC is added. Really liked vibration before the start. Devs are the best? But I have some questions I wish to find answers for:

1. Dropping support for Android 5 is really sad. But I know you could play with an old version back in the days. What is the last version that supports Lolipop and can you still join races live with it? Apkmirror doesn't have IGP, so where could I get it? 


2. Since Android 5 is very old I wish I could buy a new Android tablet. Tablets (probably Ipads as well) had different interface with full timing bar and both drivers at the same time (like on PC in browser). Is it still like that in the new version of the app?


3. This probably should be in bug section. New timing bar (on the phone) is so laggy and you cant see which tyres other players used, section times and even your gap from the leader. Also there is a misterious "double tap for more" button which does nothing. What is it for?


4. When chatting live you can not edit you message before sending. Is this OK?


5. Can top teams reach 200 research? (Asking just out of curiosity)


6. How did setup setting change, if it's not a secret?

I can only answer some of your questions.

2. To my knowledge this did not change, but I never played on a tablet though...

5. If you mean reaching 200 points in one area, it is possible. If you mean in all areas, I suppose the answer is no and that’s the point. My season was already on the go when the update arrived, so points were scaled and maybe that helped reach a lot of 200 points in multiple areas, I’ll see next season how it goes.

6. I have my idea, on how it changed, but that applies to fully trained drivers in Elite. It is not too complicated, with 2 races with perfect setup, you can figure it out.
Also, I feel that it might be a bit early to give the answer widely, hence the vagueness of my answer ^^

Some answers were provided to you by @Wambou , I can add on the question some answers not provided :

1) We strongly advise against playing on older versions because they will contain bugs that are fixed in the newer versions of our app. Also, for the same reason, we will not provide support for any problems you encounter.
2) It's exactly the same as before.
3) The "tap twice for more" button works for exactly what you wrote, time bar, you can see what tires other players have used, section times and even your gap to the leader. 
4) You cannot copy and paste, but you can go back and edit your message before sending it
