I was just wondering at what point dose age effect your drivers performance and what impact it has on speed.
how does it work. And if it dose for example Is there a percentage decrease of speed per 1 year of age. And are they any other factors to take into account.
Any help is much appreciated

Age has no direct effect on performance. Higher age does lower training effect so it can have an indirect one due to slowed improvement of performance if a driver is still in training and below the soft cap.

Cheers Frank, I was only asking because I’ve seen a drop in performance, which I can’t work out. The only thing I could think of was the age of my driver.
Thanks again

I've seen this as well, only in other teams for more than one or two races though, and some indeed fixed it with hiring new drivers. But it's not the drivers as a few of those replaced drivers in another team of the same league were up to speed again. What it is, I don't know. Something wrong somewhere else in the team, some mental effect in us players like seeing less than wished for performance, leading to trying too hard managing the race, leading to overdoing the tyres, or failing somewhere else, leading to even less performance and thus even more trying to push it and so on, some mystery reason fit for X-Files?
