Design for promoted teams

So, when are you guys gonna fix this bug? It's been months already. All promoted teams from Rookie to Pro and from Pro to Elite get a very poor design reset for the new season.
Many people sort this out by leaving and rejoining the league but what about those leagues where the host doesn't allow that? Just like the league I'm currently in. The host locks the league with a password when a season ends and until the new season starts, to avoid teams from leaving and rejoining. I've now got promotion from Rookie to Pro and I have a very poor reset for next season. And I can't leave the league cause it's currently locked with a password so I can't join again if I do it.
What do I have to do? 

I sent him a message trying to explain there's a bug for promoted teams reset and he should allow promoted teams to leave and rejoin in my opinion. Maybe he's not even aware of that so I sent him a message. 
Thank you but I don't wanna be the only one doing that. There also are other 3 teams promoted from Rookie to Pro and other 4 teams from Pro to Elite. I think it would be fair for all of us to be allowed to do that. Not just me.
BTW, I think this is something devs should fix anyway.

EDIT: It's actually just the 4 of us promoted from Rookie to Pro, I forgot promotions were not open for Pro to Elite last season. But still, it would be fair for all of us 4 to do that and not just me. 

I do the same with our league, it’s a nightmare but it stops teams taking advantage by leaving and rejoining... we also had a lot of problems with new teams appearing for 1 season, winning nearly every race in vastly superior cars and moving on to the next league. It is soul destroying for the loyal managers of the league when this continually happens!
I am also aware of the promoted team issue and private message these teams with the password to leave and rejoin...but many either don’t do it and have a terrible season, or are too late and miss the first race! Plus it is a lot of hassle having to explain the same thing countless times EVERY season. Both of these issues have been known for a while now but seem to just be getting ignored in favour of vanity projects like AR and graphics tweaks. I would rather they just FIXED THE GAME first!

the idea is good but maybe you first fix the bug. and in any case the problem remains of those who want to enter the elite championship. each new entry can lead to complaints from managers already present in the league. Maybe I am repetitive and I apologize but the solution in my opinion would be to put the cap back on the basis of the races made. For example. 
15 races maximum cap 37 
16 ..... 40
17 .... 42 
18 .... 44 
19 .... 47 
20 .... 49 
21 .... 51 
22 .... 54 
or something like that, so that you can have two features at most or develop a more balanced car. the ideal would also be to enter the decimal points again as before. to all this should be added the reset from elite to those arriving from the Pro. I hope I explained myself.....

in my opinion, the best solution is to go back to the old car development simply by lowering the car values at the beginning of the season..

@Paul: a team who joins an Elite league doesn't get a "vastly superior car". I really don't know why people keep thinking that, but I'm reading about this very often around the forums. But that's not true.
Since devs removed starting cap, all teams get the exact same amount of DP after their reset (of course, assuming they always used CDs of the same level as the manager level).
Reset design points are based on the season lenght. Lets assume it's a 20 races lenght league, here's the calculation:
3 x 20 for CD strenght = 60
2 x 20 for standard = 40
1 x 20 for CD weakness = 20
So this is the car of a team who just joined an Elite league before the new season starts: six 40s for standard car stats, one 60 in CD strenght and one 20 in CD weakness.
And this is the exact same car of a team that was in the league already but only used one CD (of the same manager level) during last season.
In the case a team used different CDs (still same manager level) during last season, the only difference is that DP will be allocated in a different way depending on how many races each CDs was selected. But the overall amount of DP after reset is exactly the same for all these different cases. 
Only those teams who used CDs of a lower level than their manager level will have a drop in points after reset.
That's it and it's very simple. A newly joined team doesn't get a superior car, it only gets all bonus in current CD strenght and all malus in current CD weakness. Nothing more than that. 

I understand what you are saying, it doesn’t seem to be anything that can be seen/shown in the car design points... but there is a DEFINITE difference between the performance in the first season of new teams who who join a league during preseason and the same team’s 2nd season performance in the same league.
This has been proven time and time again in our league and I have also had the same pattern with another one of my own accounts in a different league. A lot of leagues are noticing the same thing, I don’t believe they are all wrong as we have been playing this game for a long time and this pattern is clearly obvious to us all.

If that's so, that has nothing to do with the car anyway.

I honestly never had the impression newly joined teams are faster in the first season compared to the second season. The only impression I get is the strong managers are always stronger than others. There may be a few differences season after season due to a different car developement and the improving of other managers. But the strong ones are always strong and the others keep staying behind.
Many people may not like what I'm about to say but I think it's a fact: this is not the first time I read something like that, managers complaining about other managers joining "big" leagues and being super fast from race 1. But I think many "big" leagues are highly overrated due to the stupid reputation system in this game. There are so many 9k+ and 10k managers who really don't have a clue. I remember your league and I'm sure you remember me and what happened when I joined your league a few months ago. My car was exactly the same as others and I've been insulted, disrespected and accused of cheating by many of the managers in your league (even tho, most of them are not even there anymore) just because I literally dominated the first race and I screwed everyone up. I've been insulted and accused of cheating many times in many leagues during the years but NEVER the way it happened in your league, where many people teamed up against me and led me to tears. I literally ran away after only 1 race. But I have no hard feelings towards you cause you were maybe the only one who didn't say anything. You knew me already from "THE MOST ACTIVE LEAGUE" when I was the host of that league. And I'm sure you remember that no one was able to beat me no matter what, I won so many championships in a row that I got bored and tired, transferred the hosting of the league to Alex Calella and left the league for good. And back then, it was a competitive league, not like it is now. There are so many "big" leagues with high average reputation and filled with very high reputation managers but there are some players in this game who are way above those leagues and those managers. And you will often see them going from league to league due to boredom.
Now I don't know if there's some sort of bug about what you're saying (a huge difference in performance  between the first and the season season of a team) but I honestly never had that impression, since the infamous "second season design" bug back in 2017.
I would like to hear something about this from other managers of other leagues and from the developers of this game. I want to know if this bug exists and why it happens, if it really happens. Cause it surely is not due to the car reset. 

I remember the situation well Lolita/Alma and I am truly sorry for what happened. As you said, most (if not all) of the managers who teamed up on you have left the league. For what it’s worth, I actually fell out with 2 of them over the whole situation as I felt they were out of order and unfair in their treatment of you. Then it happened twice again (Calling cheat and being very unwelcoming) with 2 other managers joining the league, by this stage I had taken over hosting of the league and, even though I am sure there IS an issue here, I do not believe anyone deserves to be spoken to or treated in this way! This caused a huge argument and they all left, accusing me of “ruining” the league!
As much as we don’t agree, I have HUGE respect for you and your knowledge of the game and I love your strength of character.
Yes I remember, my first (short-lived) team raced in a league you hosted and is what got me a taste of the game which I have been playing religiously ever since... I have a lot to thank you for! 
It would be amazing to have you back in our league again and you are welcome anytime...as long as you join mid season! You will easily avoid relegation, then you can prove to us all just how fast you are ?
PM me, the league is full just now but one manager has 2 teams in Elite and has offered to give up the place to allow someone else to join. We are only 2 races into a 22 race season so you will not be far behind, and will probably win the F2 competition!

There's no chance to catch up since they doubled the max design to 200.

A girl of your talent will be fighting at the front by the end of this season, then next season you can give us all a lesson! ?
