Try, fail and adapt, that seems to work for all of us. Alternatively you can check the winner’s strategy in last race on that track

You beat me to that answer, that's the easiest way to a decent, safe strategy. Run the minimum fuel possible on every stint, every litre is worth time.

Trial and error, you learn from your mistakes. Don’t be afraid to try new strategies. Maybe trying a 2-stops, or a 4-stops. There is no such thing as the “best” strategy. Adapt to your car ?  and most of all, don’t panic no matter what. Some strategies may not work, but remember learning from your mistakes are what makes us strong ?
