Does anyone know the affects of Ballast per kg? How much time it costs per lap or race?

Does anyone know the affects of Ballast per kg? How much time it costs per lap or race?
I don't personally, but in my league a level 20 in pro said it cost him over a second a lap. So at a guess, 2 to 3 tenths per kilo, per minute of racing

Please don't take what I say as fact, it's not a situation ive been in personally and I'm sure that someone better qualified than me will be able to answer with more certainty. But that's my best guess based on what I've observed

According to the iGP Rules...
Ballast is used for teams that exceed the regulated level for the category, even if they have no advantage against the rest (see 3.1 below for more information on levels). In each league, the ballast is added 1kg for each level that is exceeded the maximum allowed level, plus an additional 1kg. For example: a team that has 3 levels above the category level limit, would carry 4kg of ballast (3x1 + 1), a team that has 7 levels above it would use 8kg (7x1 + 1) and so on.
About the question "How much time it costs per lap or race?" I think it depends on the manager and the strategy (the amount of fuel that he/she has), ...
Maybe ballast can make you lose some tenths, but not second IMO. I think that's too much. Everything depends on how good the manager is to control the situation when he/she has ballast on their car.

I'm beating lvl20 cars by almost 30 seconds in Pro. That's why I'm asking. A couple of them at least seem to know what they're doing. I just don't think what I am doing is that much better than them. At least to create 30 second victories. Hence; the question.
I guess I'm looking for the time difference in comparison to both cars using same fuel, push level etc. As if the AI was racing them. How much would the car without ballast win by.
