Hi Jack,
Super Soft tyres can be used always. If temperature is high, you can use it with a low push level. I use SS in Abu Dhabi with 37°C and it works. I've won races using SS in this race.
Soft tyres is the most used. Works always. It doesn't matter the temperature. Sometimes it takes more time to warm up if the temperature is under 10°C. But Soft could be used even with more than 35°C.
Mediums tyres works depends on the circuit. For example, in GB works with 10°C.... But with the same temperature in a different track, maybe not. So, you can use it with more than 20°C (IMO).
Hard tyres never works as well as you expected. That's why is not used very much. But should be good with high temperatures.
This is my personal opinion. Maybe there are different players thinking in a different way. But most of them should be agree that Soft tyres is the best option at the moment.
Greetings! :-)
Great summary, perfect. I find mediums can work in lower temperatures at any of the high speed circuits. Gb, Monza, Austria, and especially France.
And at monaco theres little point using anything other than super softs unless it's over 20 degrees
