Help with resets joining leagu

Hi there, 
How do my car resets work when leaving a league and joining a new one? 
If I leave a league at the end of the season and join another league mid season, I’m guessing my car will start normal and I’ll just be behind, but at the end of that part season, will be car reset for the next be complete? Will I get 66 for my Cd strength or will it depend on how many races I completed? Because really I’d be wasting the next season.  
Secondly what happens if I leave my league mid season and join another league on their end of season break, what car will I start with? 66 for my positive or just a standard reset? 
Is the only way around it to leave my current league and wait till the other league’s season has finished and join to get the perfect reset? Just means I’ll have to wait like 2 weeks 

Is there any other ways around?

Your car does not reset when leaving a league, it resets when you join you next league.

If you join a league during the inter-season break your car will reset to a design based on your active CD and the number of races in the league you are joining (last season).
So if the league you are joining had 20 races in their last season and you have a CD the same level as your team (or a 5 star L19 CD if you're L20) then you will receive 60dp in CD strength, 20 dp in CD weakness and 40 dp in the other six attributes.

Joining a league mid-season is really not recommended unless you're happy having an uncompetitive season. If you leave it too late in the season the chances are you'll be relegated. The reset is based on the number of races that have been completed, but will always leave you well behind your competitors. For the rules on reset please read this... Thanks mate, but not sure if this has been answered!

If I join a league that has 20 races and I join race 10, if I don’t get relegated, how will my car reset look the next season, will it be based on the 10 races I completed? Or will it assume the 20 races? I wouldn’t wanna be behind the second season either if that makes sense?

It's there in the linked rules. In short your next season car will reflect 20 races, with the points for the missed first 10 races generated right at joining using the then active CD.
