Rain sucks in this game

Pretty much all the races under wet conditions have above 3mm of water the whole race.
This has been like this for quite a while and I think the wet weather is not being taken full advantage of to make this game interesting and to make the advanced strategy option in this game actually useful...
Can we diversify the water mm level during the races please??
It is ridiculous that the water level doesn't change at all during 50 laps in a race...

The whole weather system is based of real life so the devs are not just going to make some code up that changes the wet weather. And for me most wet races the amount of rain does change even if it doesn't result in a tyre change

It shouldn't be based on real weather in the first place. The wet race experience is not the same for everyone and it should be...
I believe that in your experience, the amount of rain does change but in my experience it never does.
I just had a 48 lap race where the water stayed at 3.5mm the whole race...

I just had a through out wet Hockenheim. Boring one. But in the last weeks, there have been some great race with changing conditions!

I have just had two taces where the rain did not start until my last stint and barely got past 1mm.
Proves that not all wet races are in 3mm or more of standing water...

I proposed some changes a while back, light rain (usually stable about 1.5mm) normal rain (on avereage stable about 3.3mm) and heavy rain stable around 5mm... It was quite popular, I think people just want more variable conditions

That's as bad as me saying hot races suck because SS, S & M all have the same fuel usage & H is +1 where as the same track cold all 4 compounds have different fuel usages.

Never going to be able to please everyone. 

I'm all for changing conditions and screwing with this "real" weather. Fake weather is good too
