Points / Research Not Awarded

Hi,

Upon completion of the Singapore race tonight, I noticed that no points or research had been awarded, for the Elite tier. Instead, we remain on the same points as scored in the first race & the last research email received, was from a day ago.

Bizarrely, this only seems to have affected the Elite tier, as points were awarded for the Pro tier. I’ve had a few Elite managers confirm that they didn’t receive any research points either.

Could someone please take a look for us & advise?

Still not resolved

Can we have this race rerun please. This issue had a knock on affect on our race, everyone started with worn engines from the previous race and driver health below 100% but not all had exactly the same health. Some also had engines above 90% while others had engines below 90%. I’d also like to be reimbursed for the wasted engine repair prior to this happening. 

Hi Jack. When the issue was resolved, it had a knock on effect in that it reset everyone’s car condition/driver health, in the Elite tier. Race setups appear to have been unaffected but, due to the car/driver problem, it’s caused quite the debate on our league wall. This is because the reset occurred, not long before qualifying happened for our race (some noticed pre-race & got their fix in, but there wasn’t much time to do so.)

As league host, it’s my fault for not postponing the race earlier, but we now have some in Elite calling for a race rerun, while all in Pro don’t wish for that to happen, as the issues never effected them.

I’ll defer to yourself, as to what the best solution for this is (rerun or get people to request refunded engine/parts), as it’s quite a unique situation, as it only caused problems for one of our tiers.

Perfect, thanks José. I posted on our league wall, to say I’d raised the issue & whatever you decided would be the fairest & final decision. I’ll update everyone now, to advise there will be a rerun.

Thanks for letting me know Kevin. We’ve got resetting banned at the moment, so hopefully the only issues will have been the Singapore race & then the Brazil rerun.

I tried to explain to the guys in Pro why a rerun was the only fair option, but it kept getting argued against. Glad to see the devs confirmed it themselves, thanks for making the right call.
