Updated 2.1 Design, adding:
Increasing designers accelerates development
Assigning more designers to the design of a new component will reduce the time taken to complete the upgrade. A minimum 48 hour limit applies as the shortest development time.
Updated 3.4 Qualifying, adding:
DRS and KERS are not permitted for use on qualifying laps

Hi Jack,
3.4 - is there any reason why?
Its your game, so your rules, just wondering what the rationelle is?

It would give a huge advantage to the teams who have it, they would always qualify tenths ahead of the rest. This way the racing will be more exciting because they may be outqualified, but they they can use DRS/KERS during the race to come back through.
They don\'t get any disadvantage for having it either, like IRL when they carry the weight around without it working. In iGP we just take it off altogether because our mechanics have a lot more spare time. :P

Added: 4.8 DRS and KERS
DRS and KERS can be obtained by purchasing them in the Research facility. They are used in the race only.
Drag Reduction System (DRS) - The start and end of a DRS activation zone is marked with a blue and red line respectively. The blue line is also the detection point used to measure the gap between the cars. A driver may operate DRS if the gap to the car ahead is 1 second or less. DRS will be de-activated by braking and/or reaching the end of the DRS zone.
Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) - The charge of KERS is generated under braking, usually over several laps, at the start of a race. In iGP Manager KERS only charges once and is not to be used on a lap-by-lap basis, but strategically throughout the race.

FYI - This rule has only just been added to the XP calculations too, so you will only notice it after the next race.
Added bullet to 4.3 Manager XP: Reputation & Tiers - Relative to the Rookie tier, any positive Reputation XP gains are 25% greater in the Pro tier and 50% greater in the Elite tier. Negative XP is calculated on the same scale in all tiers.
I will never get XP points. I finished 1-2 last race and got 0 XP points. Half the managers behind me got positive XP points. Again, how is this computed ?

I have the same thing, only everybody except one get zero XP, and the one got -1. :D Not sure if +25% will help though.
There rules and regulations page is now the help page. You can tap or click on the question mark at the bottom of the left-side menu in-game to read them.
