You are probably new, this update has been coming for YEARS. Please scroll back into the old forums about change being needed for more customisation and to fit in with the ever growing and changing world of gaming. This has been well needed for years. Yes, the game may seem buggy and underdeveloped now. But everything starts somewhere. This update is the foundations to the later game like Jack has already mentioned. There will be various bug fixes in the future aswell as new features that make the game stand out. Jack is trying to eliminate a lot of the inactivity with most of these changes, and trying to limit the number of leagues made - bringing a closer and more experienced community whilst also growing the game to newcomers.
My message for you at the moment is to trust the process, trust Jack, and his new devs team.
The Ukraine war in particular hurt iGP as one of the creators was involved in the war and couldn’t assist to the game.
Trust the process and please give back accurate and useful feedback to help Jack out.

I'm sorry, but PLEASE stop treating the playerbase as if they are fools or new people (this also goes for that Nico guy). Most of the people who are calling out the absolute abysmal state of the game are NOT new players in any way or capacity, in fact some of them (us) have been playing at a high competitive level for a VERY LONG TIME. Most of us have been playing for YEARS (decades even) and just know how every single year the quality of the service keeps going down and down and down, while prices keep getting inflated, all while ignoring most people's complaints. Please, stop gaslighting people with this "trust the plan" nonsense. If you want to believe whatever is being fed to you, that's cool! But don't try to gaslight those of us who have been here for a very long time and just know the way things have been going (and also how things will likely end).
At least get new material, honestly. "Just trust the plan next update will be the good one!!!" XDD Seriously, how many more years of botched updates and unfixed bugs and inflated prices with worse gameplay does this game have endure to be "good"????? I started playing this game when I was a teenager, and at the time people were already talking about how the "next update would be the best ever" XD. Fast forward a decade ago and I keep hearing this same bs just to justify the sorry state of this game. You do whatever you want with your own money, but don't try to gaslight people into your delusions, because you'll be in for a rude awakening. This game is "potential man", always "when" and "if" and "would", but never "IS"!!!!
That said, I think the league changes are actually very good, but I also think this has done way to late, but it is what it is. Have fun whoever still wants to enjoy this game while you can, I guess. Especially good luck to anyone who wants to play f2p, you will need it if you want to keep up with p2w players hehe^^ (because yes, theres absolutely no chance that a f2p can keep their drivers at max stats with how slow they are trained and how short the season breaks are).
True, the majority of frustrated players are people who loved the game since awhile back. A lot of them have stopped caring at this point and moved on.
Overall I think there's some positives in this update...like you mentioned the league changes have some good things going for it. I like the new tire model and rechargeable battery....but both still needed more testing/work.
In my opinion, the w2w is a step back in terms of gameplay and playability.
