iGP Manager
Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026

iGP Games Limited (company number 07570695) (“iGP Games”, “us”, “we”) is committed to respecting the privacy rights of customers, visitors and other users of our computer game iGP Manager (the “Game”) and related websites, applications and store clients, including igpmanager.com (together, the “Site”). This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect personal data.

This Policy is intended to meet the information duties in the UK GDPR (as defined in the Data Protection Act 2018, and as amended, including by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025), the Data Protection Act 2018, and — where we offer the Game or Site to people in the European Economic Area — the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“EU GDPR”). Cookie and similar technologies are also subject to the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (“PECR”).

Here are the details we must give you as a data controller:

Using the Game or Site does not by itself constitute consent to every use of your data. We rely on the lawful bases described below. Where we need consent (for example some marketing emails, or non-essential cookies and similar technologies), we will ask for it separately and you may withdraw it at any time.

I. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE PRACTICES

A. What are the lawful bases for processing of personal data?

We will ensure that your personal data is processed lawfully, fairly and transparently, without adversely affecting your rights. We only process your personal data if at least one of the following bases applies:

  1. you have given consent to the processing for one or more specific purposes;
  2. processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract;
  3. processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject;
  4. processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of you or another person;
  5. processing is necessary for a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority; and/or
  6. processing is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests or those of a third party (for example providing the Game, keeping it secure, preventing fraud and abuse, understanding how the Game is used so we can improve it, and processing payments through our providers), except where those interests are overridden by your rights and freedoms.

B. What basic information does iGP Games collect?

You may visit public areas of the Site without creating an account. To play the Game you will need an account. Depending on how you sign up, that typically includes an email address, a password, a unique username, and your first name and surname. We may also store a date of birth or age band where we collect it for age-related rules. You may add a photo or avatar to your account.

You can also sign in with Facebook or Apple. In that case the provider sends us an identifier and the account details you have allowed them to share (typically name and email). We do not receive your Facebook or Apple password.

You may take part in surveys or promotions, which are voluntary. You may contact support via the Forum or the Support page and provide extra information so we can help you. Where a current user uses “refer-a-friend”, we do not process the referred person’s data until they register.

We may email you about the Game (for example security, account or service messages) as needed to perform our contract with you. Marketing emails are sent only where you have opted in, or where another lawful basis applies and PECR allows it. You can unsubscribe using the link in those emails or via the Support page.

If you buy tokens, VIP or other items, you will be asked for payment details. Card and wallet payments are handled by third-party processors and the relevant app stores. We do not store full payment card numbers.

Optional in-app purchases can be made in the shop. Apple, Google and other storefronts will confirm those purchases in their own checkout. Web payments may be processed by providers such as Stripe and PayPal.

C. What additional information does iGP Games collect?

  1. AUTOMATIC COLLECTION. Our servers record IP addresses, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring URLs, and timestamps. The Game client and native apps may also send hardware capability, performance, crash and diagnostic data, and gameplay events so we can run, secure and improve the Game. Push-notification tokens (for example Firebase Cloud Messaging) are stored if you enable notifications.
  2. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES. We use cookies, local storage and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies keep you logged in, protect against abuse (including reCAPTCHA), and remember essential preferences. Analytics, measurement and advertising technologies — including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and related Google tags on the public Site, and Firebase analytics/events in the Game — help us understand use of the Site and Game and, where used, measure or deliver advertising such as rewarded video. Third-party login, payment and store SDKs set their own cookies or device identifiers. Under PECR, strictly necessary technologies do not require consent; non-essential cookies and similar technologies do. You can also control cookies in your browser, but blocking them may stop parts of the Site or Game working. The public Site may show a cookie notice; closing it is not a substitute for a granular opt-in where the law requires one.
  3. USER CONTENT. Forum posts, in-game chat, team names, liveries, avatars, support tickets and similar content you submit are stored so those features work. Treat that content as public or visible to other players unless we say otherwise.

D. What does iGP Games do with collected information?

  1. PERSONAL INFORMATION. We use it to create and run your account, provide the Game and Site, take payments, give support, enforce the Terms of Service and EULA, keep the service secure, prevent fraud and cheating, meet legal duties, and (with a lawful basis) tell you about the Game. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with unrelated marketers without your consent. Traffic and transaction data may be shared with partners in aggregated or de-identified form.
  2. SECURITY AND ABUSE. We may analyse account and gameplay behaviour for fraud, cheating or other abuse, limit features, remove content, and suspend or close accounts that break our terms, including where UK online-safety duties require us to act.
  3. DISCLOSURE REQUIRED BY LAW. We may disclose personal data if required by law or in the good-faith belief that it is necessary to (a) comply with legal process, (b) protect the rights or property of iGP Games or our users, or (c) protect the safety of the public or users of the Site or Game.
  4. BUSINESS TRANSFERS. If we sell or transfer all or a substantial part of the business, customer information may transfer to the buyer, who must use it in a manner consistent with this Policy. We will use reasonable means to notify you, for example by email and/or a notice on the Site.
  5. ACCESS. You may access and request correction of the personal data we hold about you as described in section I.F.

E. Notice concerning children

The Game and Site are a general-audience service. We do not direct the Game at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will delete that account’s personal data. Parents or guardians who believe we have collected a child’s data should contact us via Support.

UK law also treats people under 18 as children for the ICO Children’s code (Age Appropriate Design Code) where a service is likely to be accessed by them. If a person aged 13–17 uses the Game, we will take their best interests into account, keep privacy settings high by default where we can, and not use their data in ways that are detrimental to them. We do not use children’s data for profiling with legal or similarly significant effects.

F. What are my rights in relation to personal data?

Under the UK GDPR (and EU GDPR where it applies) you have the right to:

These rights are not always absolute. To use them, contact us via the Support page. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within the time the law allows (usually one month).

II. SECURITY AND RETENTION

We store account data on servers in the United Kingdom and/or the EEA. Some processors may handle data outside those territories (for example US-based authentication, analytics, store or payment providers). Where we transfer personal data internationally we use a lawful mechanism such as the UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another safeguard recognised by applicable law. Using the Game is not treated as a contractual waiver of those safeguards.

We keep account data while you use the Game. If you delete your account we delete or irreversibly anonymise personal data unless we must keep a limited record (for example tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling or a legal obligation). Inactive accounts may be deleted after a long period of no sign-in; we currently treat ten years after last log-in as the outer bound unless the law requires a different period. Forum posts, chat and similar content may remain in anonymised form (“Unknown”) after deletion, as described in section VII.

We use technical and organisational measures intended to prevent loss, misuse and unauthorised alteration of data, including restricted access and staff who need the data to operate the Game. No internet transmission is 100% secure. You can reduce risk by choosing a strong unique password and keeping your device software up to date.

Report security concerns via the Support page.

III. WEBSITE AREAS BEYOND OUR CONTROL

A. Public forums and in-game chat

The Site includes forums, and the Game includes real-time chat. Anything you post there can be seen by other users. Do not post personal data you would not want made public. We may monitor forums and chat to enforce our terms and to meet legal duties, but we are not obliged to read every message.

B. Third-party websites and platforms

The Site and Game may link to other websites or open app stores, payment pages or social networks. Their privacy practices are their own. Read their policies before you use them.

IV. SERVICE PROVIDERS

We use service providers as processors or independent controllers, including hosting and server management, email delivery, customer support tooling, payment processors (such as Stripe and PayPal), app stores and desktop storefronts (including Apple, Google, and any store clients we make available), authentication providers (Facebook, Apple), analytics and crash reporting (including Google and Firebase), advertising or rewarded-video partners, and anti-abuse tools (including reCAPTCHA). They may access personal data only as needed to provide their service.

Your manager name or similar Game data may appear on cars or other in-Game surfaces in connection with a sponsor. That is part of playing the Game. We will not pass your contact details to a real-world sponsor for their own marketing without your consent.

Those providers have their own terms and privacy policies in the parts of the Site or Game where you deal with them.

V. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

A. If a dispute arises about this Policy, try to resolve it with us in good faith first. If it is still unresolved thirty (30) days after written notice, the parties will join mediation in England with a mutually agreed mediator, without affecting your statutory data-protection rights.

B. We will write to the email on your account, or another address you have given us. You should write to iGP Games Limited, Third Floor, 207 Regent Street, London, W1B 3HH, or use Support.

C. This informal process does not freeze limitation periods and does not limit section I.F.

VI. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING AND PROFILING

A. We may use limited automated logic and profiling to run the Game, personalise offers or discounts, detect fraud or cheating, and decide whether a purchase or reward should proceed.

B. If we used solely automated decisions with a legal or similarly significant effect, you would have the right to contest that decision, obtain an explanation, and request human review, unless an exemption applies (the decision is necessary for a contract with you, authorised by law, or based on your explicit consent).

C. Where we profile: we will explain the significance where required; we use appropriate statistical methods; we take measures to reduce error; and we secure the data to avoid discriminatory effects.

VII. ACCOUNT DEACTIVATION AND DELETION

You may ask us to deactivate or delete your account via the Support page. Deactivation hides your manager profile but keeps the account so it can be restored. Deletion removes the account from the Game and cannot be undone.

After deletion, copies of content you shared (for example forum posts on another player’s thread) may remain visible but will no longer be tied to your name (they may show as “Unknown”). Backup copies may persist for a short period until they rotate out, and we may retain a minimal record for fraud prevention and legal duties.

VIII. OTHER TERMS

Unless stated otherwise, this Policy applies to the information we hold about you and your account. If we change it we will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is material we will give additional prominent notice (for example in the Game or by email) as appropriate.

If you are in a US state that grants additional privacy rights (including California), we do not sell or “share” personal information as those laws define those terms, and you may contact Support to exercise access, deletion and similar rights to the extent they apply.

IX. CONTACT INFORMATION AND POLICY UPDATES

A. Contacting us

Questions about this Policy: Support or iGP Games Limited, Third Floor, 207 Regent Street, London, W1B 3HH. You can also complain to the ICO.

B. Updates

We may update this Policy by posting the revised text on the Site. The date at the top is the date it took effect. Continued use after a material change that we have notified is your acceptance of the updated Policy to the extent the law allows; if you do not agree, stop using the Game and delete your account.

C. Additional policies

Your use of the Site and Game is also governed by the Terms of Service and the EULA.
