I don't understand, on the 2D viewer, what the tyre colour represents - any help? Also, does pushing hard of backing off affect this. How can one's qualifying pace be improved. Moreover, can you cancel a pit stop? Thanks

Yes, the controls affect tyre temperature.
Qualifying pace can't really be improved unless using soft tyres and set tactic to push hard.
A pit stop can be cancelled only before a driver enters pit just by clicking on the green pitting button.
