Can't get into the race (23/8 21:00 CEST)

Hi i race in active class gp and multiple times this season I have not been able to join the race at the start by the time I have got in my tyres are overheated and the race has been lost
This costs me sponsorship money and points I have put my own money into this to try and make this up

I have the same problem (0)

our race is supposed to start now, but when we try to connect, it says "race is finished". Also qualifying results were not yet available before joining the race.

The races started late? I will check if any maintenance was going on around this time. I know work has been going on around the servers to prepare for the migration but nothing I was notified of should have been going on at this time.

We got in about 5 minutes past the hour. Race was at 3rd lap then.

Out of interest, can you walk me through how you tried to join the race and from what time and for how long? E.g. if you started trying to connect at 2 minutes to the hour, kept trying until 3 minutes past, then re-started the app and tried again at 5 minutes past and got in.

I was also in Gert's race. The join race button didn't show until 1-2 minutes before the scheduled start. I tried almost continuously until it worked, as Gert said, about 5 minutes after the scheduled start time, and we were on lap 3. I would just close the race browser window and click "join race" again.

Next race showed up 10 min before 2100, then go to race didnt pup up until 2100. Then it totally disappeared, came back with go to race at 2101 saying race had finished until 21.05 when i could enter.

I've identified the cause, now just need to get to the bottom of why this is happening. The good news is I can perform some manual intervention even with the current situation to stop it happening again.

Thanks for reporting it, you've saved the next few races the same problem.

I was playing from pc, but others in my league from the app, and this showed similar behaviour.

- at 10 to the hour, "next race" got locked, as normal
- I was regularly checking the "next race" to look at qualifying results, at 2 minutes to the hour these results were still not available, for all tiers.
- at 2 minutes to the hour, the "go to race" button was still not available.
- also the "live" button in the race list in "competition" was not there yet, this button is usually available much sooner than "go to race".
- around the hour, "go to race" became available and viewer loaded at normal speed, but after loading the viewer, it said that the race was finished.
- I closed and reloaded several times, let's say once per minute, with same result
- around 5 minutes past the hour, we got into the race, race was at 3rd lap at that moment.
