Race started early

Our race has just started supposed to start at 8pm?

Not only that, now it has crashed.

Im still on Sheldon...

Sheldon. PM them, it's a much quicker way of getting a response apparently. Often they are offline working on the site, but when you PM them they get an email notification I'm guessing.

We already opened a ticket, and they won't respond that as well.

Its all fucked up, really.

Nor Jack or Andrew are online at the moment...You'll have to send a ticket and ask them to reschedule the race..

I know it's annoying, but I also know it's as annoying or more so for them guys as well.. They don't want or need these issues and they are trying to sort them out.

I know it isn't the answer you want but the devs have to sleep sometime.
Well I assume they do anyway, as it appears from the posts that they have been working solidly for the last 48hrs or so.

I like the fact that you are not in any league, so basically not experiencing none of the issues we are constantly (and by constantly I mean DAILY) having.

I specially like the fact that when someone complain about anything in the game, or point out a bug and complain about it, as we are doing, you come here defending the developers and every other aspect of the game. You did this on this thread and on another one.

I will stress it but I really don't think its going to make any difference to you: we are constantly having problems with our league. Already had 3 or 4 postponements in the same season, with a lot of repeated bugs (as far as we, the users, are concerned). Connection problems, simulator crashes, races starting earlier than they should. You name it, we got it.

So please, if you can't give any solution on the subject, or help in any way, shape or form, please don't come here white knighting. It's no use to anyone. Specially to us who are really pissed with how everything is going.

That is not the point Sheldon.

The point was you asking three times in one hour where the devs were. It's obvious they have to sleep some time - This is what they were doing when you were asking where they were - I know this because I had been chatting via PM with Andrew for the last 12 hours before that about the issues in our league and he had just pulled an all nighter working until 9am.

I'm in the speed series and we are having non stop problems as well, so I know exactly what you are talking about. Yes we are having delays, re-scheduled races, controls not being available to everyone, races having to be run and simulator crashes aswell, but at the end of the day they are only human and they are doing the best they can. Demanding 24/7 "on the minute" service is not rational - They are not ignoring you - They are not slacking off on purpose - They will get back to you and resolve it as fast as they can.

Yes problems are annoying and we are all sick of them, but complaining non stop is not going to help the issue. It will get resolved, sooner hopefully than later, but eventually everything will be back to norm.

Edit: Please don't take my post in the wrong tone Sheldon. I am not having a go at you at all, I'm just merely pointing out sometimes the problems aren't obvious and take a while to fix, and getting angry about it isn't going to help anyone.

I will address your points-

Although I am not in a league (work demands are too great at the moment for me to make any meaningful contribution to a league) my partner has a subscription so I can watch races etc and am well aware of the problems people are experiencing.

This is an open forum and I have as much right to defend the devs as you do in slagging them off.

Again I stress I am more than aware of your problems - I was a tester and still am, so can see exactly what problems you are having.

You asked why the devs were not responding so I was 'helping' by telling you the devs were probably asleep and therefore unable to answer your post.

And lastly, if people are getting annoyed with me then they are not slagging off the devs and that is a good thing imo.
I also agree with what Eton says - including the Edit, as you are not the only person this applies to.

not very encouraging when we get told it will get sorted just not sure when, but in the meantime dont keep bothering us.

when you charge people to play this sort of thing shouldnt happen, nevermind happen every other race lol

For the record, I responded to this on the leage discussion board.  Also for the record, I got to sleep at 7pm the following day, not 9am :p.
