My headquarters appears dark on my screen, and I received an email saying ‘Our Design HQ is the only source of design progress from this race’

Can anyone tell me what this means please? I’m a little confused!

Dark theme is special theme for Halloween. The reason behind our HQ is the only source message is no research points were gained as your car is fully developed and no points can be gained from there.
