Hi, I have a question about engines.
With what engines are we racing?
Take for example that in race 5 we bought two new Tifosi engines for our two cars, and on race 6 our contract with Tifosi finishes and we make a new deal with Wonder, but we don't fix the engines, we still have the same from race 5.
What characteristics will the engines of the 6th race have? With which will we race? Tifosi's or Wonder's?

Two days ago my deal with Murk finished, and tried to send them a new contract but they rejected it and I went to Cosurworthit for only one race, don't know if it was coincidence or not, but yesterday was by far my worst race of the season (finished 7th and 8th because I did an afwul qualifying) while I've won all the other 7 races of the championship.
So I supose we run with the engines we have actually contracted, not those we payed, but I'd like someone to confirm it if possible

And well, just to clarify, I don't ask this question to make the "trick" of buy new engines while having Cosurworthit and then swap to the other races with Murk, IMO that "trick" is very idiot, you lose one race racing with Cosuswor just to pay about 60-100k less per engine... That's not worth the well.

I just ask this to try to find and explanation to what happened me yesterday.

You buy new engines to get them im 100% condition while your signed partner is X, the next day you sign a deal with Y. With which engines will you race the next race? X's or Y'x?

When they renew you have 20 races...

Even if he refitted them every race, it would say: "You have 16 engines available, with a restock due in 18 races"

Nico, I didn't. I am in my second engine in the season only, today I will have the 5th race of the season....

Did you switch engine providers? FYI, IIRC if you switch engine providers before a restock, you do NOT get a new complement of 20 engines - you are stuck with the same amount of engines you had with the previous provider.

According to the rules 2:5
You get 10 engines per car for 20 races.  Signing different suppliers makes no difference to this ratio.  This was exploited in the past and stopped.
So if you refitted an engine for each car over 10 races (in a two car league)  you will have no engines and signing a new supplier will make no difference to this.

I think this is correct, but I may be misunderstanding the problem.

Your race results won't be very good over the season, but you can complete a season on two engines per car if you plan carefully. That will at least keep you finishing races.

He had done 2 races. He had apparently used 15 engines. How is this possible? At most he could have used no more than 4.

It sounds to me like his engine stock never renewed when his 20 races was up. This (as far as I remember) is an old bug. Jacks fixed it for people in the past.

This is not user error, it's a bug in the game.

Eric has done 19 races so far with his team when I look at his records. Sounds to me he should run into the first 20 race restock 1 race from now.

that makes even less sense then. someone needs to look into it

Did my 20th race today, and my engines were not restocked. I'm waiting for te ticket answer.
