When editing my name

Can someone explain why one letter names is not allowed, my surname was only 1 letter previously but I changed it temporarily, I then tried to edit it back to what it was before the temporary change, but now it says “Name not long enough”. This wasn’t a issue before so why is it now? I know it’s not a major issue, but Is it possible for one of the iGP team to change my name back to what it was originally please? The name is Warren G. 

Try Warren G*space*?

Can the team change it to yoppeh r instead please ??

I tried that already to no avail.
