The 1 meter club

This is a club for those of us who have run out of fuel on the last lap when in the lead, the nearer to the finish line the better & preferably within '1 meter' of the finish line.

We would also welcome applications from those who have run out of fuel in the pitlane within '1 meter' of your pit stall.

It may be noted that you can easily spot us. Our 'composure' attribute is temporarily reduced to '0'.

I have run out of fuel within 1 meter of my pit box. :(

mine is even recorded on twitch :D. I was even leading the race and commentating! Do I get a cookie now?

I'll throw my hat into the ring. I was leading a race coming up to the last stop (need to find which race it was). I bumped my push level up on the in lap and just as I was about to hit my pit stall: out of fuel for both of my drivers

I once ran out of fuel on the last lap but because our league isn't exactly balenced, I finished 7th out of about 20. :3

I ran out of fuel three times this season!   This is also my first full season

First time I was messing around with the pit option at Silverstone while running though Maggots an Becketts.

Secound time in Hungry I ran out while boxing for fuel an tires.   An in the Europen GP I ran out on lap 29 of a 28 lap race very intresting GP was never in the lead for any of these learing experiances.

I ran out with 1 meter on pit lane with a 26 second lead.....on my last pit

This is the 2nd time I ran out with 1 meter on pit lane .....and it said I had 1L to go when I entered the pits... on my last pit

In Malaysia, had a comfortable 25 second lead, came in for my final stop and I run out just before the pit box... I even backed off to prevent the fuel from running out once it hit 0L...

hehe, here I am, in Singapore, in a rainy race which stopped raining, everyone changed to dry tyres in the following lap, and, I chosen to keep in wet, as the track took long to dry out,  I was gaining about 7 secs per lap, and when I was with 46 secs lead, ran out of fuel on the pitlane. It was surely the most stupid thing I did in game lol 

I pitted on the last lap. I had 2 litres left, I went from 1st to 4th...

So i'll join the club. Brittish grand prix, challenging for 1st place. pit at the same time as the leader who was only half a second ahead........ and then i run out of fuel pulling into my pit box!! Gutted is an understatement.

I can also join this exclusive, illustrious club of honor.

On this account in my 2nd race of the iGP World Series (Season 25) at Malaysia, I ran out of fuel pretty much around 1 meter from my pit stall with one of my cars. My pit stall was one of the last ones in pit lane, and when I crossed the start/finish line, had 0.23L left. And my second car had 0.26L left.

So still to this day I have had no official retirements in iGP on both of my accounts (211 races as of 1/28/2014). XD :D

I was doing well (for me) and was about 5th or 6th and had, as it said '0L'. This was close to the pit entrance so I though, i'm alright. I entered the pits and concentrated on my other driver and then, in the corner of my eye saw something. It was my driver losing his position number and the commentry saying 'Williams runs out of fuel'.

Can I have a cookie as well?

I think it happened to me once, lost a couple of wins due to last 2 laps pit stops too

It has happened to me, found a loophole in the igp rulebook that allows me to race Volvo 240 GLE. Sometimes I forget to compensate for the extra weight. Happened today while going for fastest lap XD
