hi just after some advice can an AI activate the kers at specific times and be so competitive race after race that they're competing with the leading pack?

Yes, I have seen this. If you watch them carefully for a few races they follow a pattern which is fairly predictable.
If the off-line manager knows what he's doing or gets lucky with car development sometimes the cars are so fast compared to the rest of the field they can be very difficult to beat even when AI controls the race.

Unfortunately we've just finished our first race of the season so it will be mid season before you can catch up with careful research. Alternatively, next season begins in 4 weeks on Sunday 4th October. Hope to see you sometime.
