search effectiveness

Hi!  I used a DT with a contract to expire and the research effectiveness was half of what it should be.  then instead of receiving 34 accelerating design points, only half came, as if I didn't have DT at the team level

Rafael, did the contract ran out at the end of the race? If it was this, then it's just the "normal" behavior from the game as it calculates cost and contracts before doing the research, which was introduced later on in the game, so you probably received a lvl 1 TD and nerfed the research gains in half.

I know it's not normal as you receive 1 less race effectiveness from the staff's contract, but they are aware for almost 5 months now, so I believe they didn't rethink the order which costs/contracts run compared to research or might be problematic to do. One day we will find out...

Hello Rafael

Currently the game manages the calculations related to the staff contract before the generation of the search points and then calculates the search on the basis of the wrong CD/TD, if the contract of the active one is running out after the race.
That's why you received so few points from the research.
That said, I manually arranged what was to be your research after the race.
