I took a break from the game for a while, I came back to be put in Rookie tier, as a level 20 when there's space in Elite and Pro tier. I don't know if there's a reason for it I'm not seeing, but it doesn't make sense for me to have to play in rookie tier and beat everyone at this level rather than just putting me in the top tier.

I think that you were just demoted, you need to make your way back up there
