No parts updates

Bit of a strange 1, but I started this season with a 77% car, for the 1st 3 races I had the slider bar on 100% this season. I have had no updates to improve the car, slider now on 70/30 towards next season, but as I said no improvement the the % on either side at all this season so far.
I do have the wind tunnel and the other one (can't remember the name as I type this) So should get some updates every 48hrs?

As it stands I only have 1% for next season, so not going to be competetive, is there anything that can be done?

What is stated in the "Next model" column? Do you have enough designers to get updates every 48hrs?
Top right "Max Performance": What is stated there? If your designer is not good enough, you might not be able to get higher than 77%.
In box: Is there a message from your designer regarding improvements?

In the next model column it states 19th,21st & 25th Aug, I hadn't looked at this before I changed the sliding bar towards next season.
Engineers, I have 83 with the cheif at L8 (I'm L8 so highest  can get at mo)

Don't distribute your designer evenly among parts! That way it is going to take ages to develop new designs.

Instead, assign as much designers to one part as needed to finish it TOMORROW. Do the same to next part and so on till no designers are left.

The next day, it is pointless to assign designers to the parts which just finished development, since updates are only every 48h possible. So, swap your designers to the parts you left out yesterday.

That way you should get better results even with a 77% car!

I (and most others I think) have 120 designers. At the early stages of development that means you can split 3 parts with 40 designers each on them, and then the next day do the other 4 parts with 30 each and so on. Once you get to a certain point though, you'll have to put more designers into each part and do less parts per day.

120 designers? How many mechanics and engineers do you have? Are you a single or 2 car league?

I am in a 2 car league and can only have 83 designers, 68 engineers and 48 mechanics, and that lets me do a full refit on my car.

Do you get any more staff as you level up?

200 is max.
Number of useful designers depends on 1 or 2 car league and how often the league races.

I am in a daily racing league with 2 cars. So I got the suggeted  83 designers, 68 engineers and 48 mechanics. But I don't need that much designers. About 60 would be sufficient.

I'm in a competitive 2 car league, scraping by in the elite tier. My split is 120/48/32 Design/Engineer/Mechanic. The only time I've ever needed to do a full car refit was when I missed a couple of races. There's just no need to refit everything every race.

121/46/32 (stuck with 1 designer, I can't fire to 0).  2 car league, 1 car full refit every other day, the off day they get chassis, front wing, and suspension only.  

Folks, how much races a week do you do?

In a daily racing league you have shitload of money and get design done for certain part with 14 designers applied for one day.
So, you replace parts only cause you are able to. If you only gain 1s for a whole race it is still worth the money, since money is worthless. ;-)

Then u should be able to design 3 or 4 parts every day, even with "only" 83 designers and car up in the 70ies.
