Unnecessary pitstop cost me the race!

Hi All,

I was rocking my race today and well and truly had it in the bag, then with one lap to go and a 9sec lead my driver pitted.  I didn't spot it as I was talking with my kids.  It was an unscheduled stop and I'm confused as to why?  It wasn't raining, and my tires were still good as was my fuel.

Am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Some data:

I pitted at the end of Lap 27
Pos 1
45% tyres
3.3L fuel

Put on new boots and added 37 L of fuel

Race link would be useful, plus most tracks need more than 3.3L for a lap

3.8L per lap is the lowest possible fuel load you can get in Malaysia Brain every supplier is different.

The game likes to check you are paying attention sometimes.
You may have enough fuel to finish the race with 0.1/0.2L but auto pit will come on just before completing sector 1 Beta does the same but you can roll over the line in beta.
