What did you try to do?
I was disqualified for not changing tires but I started the race on intermediates and then did the rest of the race on M

What happened?
what you said

Did the problem occur while using wi-fi, mobile data or both?
Both

Did the error occur in the app, PC or both?
PC

What operating system does your PC have?
windows

On which browser did you experience the problem?
your app

Can the error be reproduced?
I hope not

Additional comments:
I don't know if it's a bug or a rule I don't know, but I used two different tires in the race. I should have finished 9th and 10th.

Hello, it is a rule not a bug.

There are 3 different positions to Consider when it comes to the two tyre rule.

Dry Race - Only Dry Tyre compounds count towards the two tyre rule.

Wet Race - The Two tyre rule is disabled. A race is classified as wet if rain falls during the race. To be specific, I believe this is from the moment the cars start moving, to the moment the race finishes.

Dry Race with Water on Track - If there is water on the track after the race has started, but rain has not fallen during the race, Intermediate tyres will count towards the two tyre rule.

To be absolutely clear - The race is considered to have started once the lights have gone out and the cars have started moving. Water on the track and rain falling in the 8 minutes between qualifying resolving and the lights going out does not affect the processes above.

Ok, thanks for the explanation, It is clear now. I would like to know why my league mates could change to dry tires during the 8 minutos before the start and after qualifying and I couldn´t. Is there any config that disables it?

Normally it is a result of how you/they set up.  If you believe it will be wet at start of race then you should still set up with drys and set Advanced strategy 1 to 0mm.  Then you start on dry tyres and if it is wet before race start you can switch to Inters (if you aren’t online at race start they will auto change)

Your strategy has to be set a certain way for this to be available. On the grid you have a choice of 3 tyres to start from:

  • The tyre you set in your main strategy for the first stint of the race

  • Intermediate Tyres

  • Wet Tyres

If you set the main strategy to run intermediates for the first stint, you lose the ability to select a dry compound. The best thing to do is usually to set a dry strategy and use advanced strategy to handle when to use intermediate tyres.

Extra Note: Historically accessing the menu to change the compound on the grid can be temperamental, the best way to do it is to access the strategy planner in the viewer (hammer and spanner Icon) and then ensure you have stint 1 selected by clicking on the arrow pointing to the left.
