Salary cap

I've noticed for a while that now  the salary cap is no longer 1.2M, and when you go to renew a driver's contract, they can charge you 1.8M or 2M. Is this a bug, or is this how it's going to be from now on? If it's going back to the old system, it wouldn't be a bad idea for drivers and staff recruited from headquarters to also revert to their previous system, with low salaries that, when it comes time to renew their contracts, remain low compared to market's staff or driver 

Slight increase ? From 880k to 1.8M or from 1.2M to 1.8M is a slight increase? 🤣

You may have received a slight increase in sponsor payout as well, higher level means higher wages but also higher sponsor income .
Also: pre update was level 30, you’re now at level 35 so it’s 5 levels difference, 0.6M doesn’t seem irrational for level +5

I'm not talking about the account I'm writing from. Let's see if this makes it clearer:

I sign a driver from the market, I pay him 1.2M. After 20 races his contract ends, and when I renew it, he charges me 1.8M. The account level is the same.

But hey, if you say it's normal and everything's fine, great.
I just wanted to find out how it works now.
