XP gain past Level 40

Hi everyone!
I would like to ask the development team a question about experience points (XP). 
I noticed that after reaching level 40, I continue to earn XP. 
Is this a bug, or do you intend to add more levels in the future?

More levels could well be added in the future but it would only be when there's more features to justify it. There's no rush to do that any time soon. It was a long time between adding Level 30 to Level 40 and I think we still need to settle this new system in before we add anything else.

When level 40 was added, levels also fundamentally changed from a performance level to a progression unlock. The gameplay was also re-designed to level performance and make it more skill-based as opposed to a barrier to competing.
