iGP Manager 27 Launch & 26 Patch News

A decision was made this morning to abort the iGP Manager 26 patch, with the 3D headquarters and 3D avatar editor. They will instead be part of a mega update for iGP Manager 27 in November.

The reason for this is simple: It became clear that the 2026 patch would have caused disruption to the iGP Manager 27 timeline and that it would not have been that welcome anyway. As one person put it, you want better gameplay, fixes and racing content, not dances. The intention to launch that first was in no way a reflection of priorities, by the way, it was just the only thing that could launch before November, as it was practically ready. So it was a case of launching something when it was ready, not when it was priority number one. The reality is all of the features of the new game are being worked on in parallel and some are being finished sooner than others

I don't want to promise too much, but iGP Manager 27 is a different game and it will benefit from this extra attention going to it. This is the best way to ensure that we really do deliver one of the best updates ever and that it is stable when it goes live.

We've been pushing the frontier of evolving technologies for a couple of years now and it's finally meeting our ambitions in the middle. We're able to put together some of the more ambitious projects for iGP Manager 27 and I'm pretty sure you're going to love it as long as it's stable. So that's what our priority is shifting to: getting that polished and stable so that the launch goes smoothly in November.

A public Discord server will be launched in October to prepare for the update, as well as much more information in the blogs in the weeks ahead.

Some of those that joined the Google Play beta programme may be given early access before the live launch. That has not been decided yet. You'll certainly be given access to patches early throughout the year.

Thanks everyone for your patience and understanding. I'll leave the thread open if anyone has any questions in the meantime.

P.S. Yes we're going to catch up on support soon as well. Development is taking total focus right now, and we're flying.

Hi, my VIP subscription has expired and I am locked out of my 2nd league. I cannot access the league interface to click the "Leave" button, but the server is still automatically running the races on my behalf. Could a moderator or developer please manually remove/kick my team from that second league? Thank you.

I first started playing IGP Manager in September of last year, and I know that isn’t very long compared to many of the veterans who have been around for years. Even so, I’ve had the opportunity to experience a lot of updates and changes since I started, and I can honestly say I’ve only grown more positive about the game with each one. IGP Manager continues to get better and better, and I find myself playing more and more as time goes on. That says a lot about the work being put into the game. To the devs and the entire team: you’re doing something that a lot of other games struggle to accomplish—continuing to improve the experience while keeping players engaged and excited for what’s next. Keep up the great work. I’m here for the long haul.

I’ve been playing IGP Manager since 2019 and have seen plenty of updates—some useful, others not so much. In my opinion—for what it's worth—you really ought to update a few fundamental things:
- Bugs involving tracks, starting grids, and cars going off-track (driving across the grass), as well as the fluidity of the 3D and 2D views.
- Driver training: I shouldn't have a 22-year-old driver where training his driving skill causes his stamina to drop, making it impossible to ever get him to 100% readiness.
- Development and key skills: introduce variables into the progression and development systems so that by race 20 of the championship, not every car has the exact same specs—create competitiveness through different development paths!
I think this is one of the best car games out there, but I feel the recent updates haven't really achieved anything.
Keep up the good work; I hope to see an update soon.
Just sharing my thoughts—keep up the good work.

Hi Jack!!
Just remember the promise you made after the previous update:
"Never again a single massive update. Integrate updates progressively, so as to get the community used to the new updates and test them together."

The previous three tier system took care of this problem; can it be re-instated to solve the current problem caused by the abolition thereof, with maybe some incentive for newcomers not to jump league so often?

Now that all of the long standing players are nearing or have already reached level 40, I sincerely hope that the update promised for November is NOT going to include raising the top level by another 10 to 50!

Nonetheless I am looking forward to the next update, even if it would only mean fixes to the tracks at Zandvoort, USA and Italy, which are long overdue!
I can't wait...

I've noted all your suggestions and feedback. Thanks.

Development is moving at a pace it's probably never moved at before so just know the silence is still a good sign.
