Weather Implementation

So.. hear me out.

Here I was today, monitoring the weather closely just before the race, so that I could pick the right tires for the occasion. Then I chose "Intermediate" because it was saying that the live weather was "Light Rain", right up until we could make setup changes.

Then, all of a sudden, when we couldn't make changes anymore, it changed the weather to "Overcast", and my tire strategy was entirely gone. Now I had to start the dry race with Intermediate rubber. Wtf?

Picking the right stuff here is not expertise or knowledge, just blind luck. This needs to be better implemented ASAP! Damn :/

Improved weather system
Less weather conditions, and a cap on the range of available temperatures and conditions for more realism. Documentation on how the conditions are calculated will be released.


I know your annoyed, but it's been talked about in other threads and it will be sorted soon. I've had the same issue as well, so have a few others... Q1 is when the main patch is out and they have been tweeking it over the past months.. So it's just bad luck, don't let it put you off, yes it's annoying, but it will be sorted. :)
