June 8, 07:00 GMT - Scheduled Maintenance:

At this time we'll be conducting up to 1 hour of maintenance to perform a server upgrade which should address numerous issues that arose in the last 48 hours around peak times. These issues were (as you might expect) due to the demand being placed on the service. Such things as some cars not participating in races, more than two cars participating for one team and other unusual glitches like drivers saying a car needs repairs when it doesn't.

We've traced everything back to one bottleneck that is causing some data to not update properly. We can upgrade it quickly. However, there is a migration of data involved which will take time, and that's why there will need to be a scheduled window for the maintenance.

Thanks for your patience and understanding. We're doing all we can to continue improving the experience for everyone.

These are new ones, totally different to before, but they always produce the same outcome. It's a very complex chain with something like this, and one weak link is all it takes for weird things to start happening.

The maintenance is over now. Unfortunately, we were only able to do a partial upgrade due to some technical issues in third-party services which didn't allow us to carry out the full upgrade. There may be a slight improvement in the service, but we will need to schedule a second period of maintenance when we're able to perform the full upgrade (hopefully within days).
