No Promotion

We have a small league and as a result we have been broken up by promotion and now do not have enough teams to be promoted so we are now split up. Can't we opt to stay at the same level since it is unlikely we are going to get enough teams to fill the missing slots and make the promotion system work?

This applies to us as well.
Maybe you could consider "private league" with option to have 32 drivers in total in one race no matter if rookie/pro/elite,

Why? Because we are all from the same sim-racing league and playing this for fun together, if someone wanted to join now.... he/she would have to drive alone in rookie...

Essentially the same thing I just replied to here:

There won't be any easy way to change this until the Q1 patch, where the option to reset your team will be added. That would provide a path back to Rookie for everyone without "corrupting" performance data. It will get even easier to race vs friends when we have the friendly race system a few months down the line.
