Not having to do it every lap, but perhaps use the button that already exists to disable/enable it

Yeh i know it sounds like a weird suggestion but if you have 2 drivers close togethor then they will constantly compete for positions and drs each other [changing position] every lap, and slowing them both down, when you could "disable" drs on your slower driver once he gets too close to the car in front 0.2s e.g.

Or a better implimented overtaking system [where e.g. driver 2 will automatically let driver 1 overtake, rather than them competing for a whole lap until the drs section, and thus losing your faster driver valuable time]

Or have it similar to how kers works at the moment, [with the tick switch to have drivers use it themselves, but with the added option that they do not overtake there own team-mate]

Feel free to leave opinions/discussion/arguements

Personally, I think it's a very small feature, that not many people would use, and has the potential of causing more problems than it solves. Also, isn't there a system in place in the advanced strategy that means that the slower driver will let the faster one through?

The game originally had driver controlled DRS but it was causing more problems than it solved.  However maybe a new way of looking at it might be considered - so all discussion is very welcome.

It would be nice to have the option to tell a driver not to overtake. For example, sometimes if you're catching someone i'd rather have my driver back off and cool his tyres sitting behind him for half a lap or so and wait for his moment than overtake just before the DRS line and lose the position again.
