Everyone remembers their first car, even when they're 80 years old and senile they still remember that feeling of freedom, the sense that you can go anywhere or do anything you want (as long as you've got enough money for fuel).
What was YOUR first car? Do you remember it fondly or was it an absolute dog?
My first car was a 1987 Jeep Cherokee Laredo with a 5-speed manual transmission, low range gear box, and it could even go RWD to save fuel and get that rear end out on the dirt roads! It had a straight six engine and was NOT aerodynamic at all. I put that thing through the ringer, even drove it through a river one time and flooded the engine. Woke up the next morning and it started right up, no problems at all. I miss that thing, but unfortunately it wasn't mine so it got sold after an accident (someone hit me, not my fault!). That thing taught me more about cars than anything before or since.
