The Not Every Day League; Any Interest?

Hey folks,
  I have setup a new league that will run on Tues. and Thurs, starting next week (Jan 8th). It is at 1900 GMT, 100%, 2 cars.   I recently finished my first season in an everyday league and it was just too much for me.  I am hoping that twice a week will be about right and that there are sufficient others who might like to try a different pace.  My selection of days and times was somewhat arbitrary so I am more than willing to change them if there is interest in a twice a week league.  Heck, I think even three times a week might be OK.  I am hoping to avoid the weekend but even that could be worked out.  Give a shout here with suggestions.  Thanks.Dave Bradley

I'm not interested in joining regardless (already run another league) but as far as I know, you'll struggle to get anyone to join at only 2 races a week. It just isn't worth it in the long run, especially for subscribers.

There's the iGP LIGA, which runs on Sunday and Wednesday - usually there's around six people online for races and the races are extremely close (yesterday some point in the end of the race the top 7 was within 3 seconds of eachother). 

Only two subscribers in there, including me. 

Except... the rookie tier is full. I made a suggestion topic in order to clear some managers, perhaps you could join?

Well, I like your idea David, as I am in a league atm that only runs once a week, as that is all I can commit to.
Having said that I think Eton might be right in there being little interest.
But you never know until you try - there might be heaps of people out there only able to commit to a couple of races a week and Jaap seems to have found most of them!

Sry but as I am still in a league so I will not be able to join either of you - just yet.

  I think you are mostly right.  I am still learning about iGP and it seems that if I turn my league filters off there are a few possibilities I had not considered.  Such as joining a league in progress and/or accepting 3 or 4 times a week or maybe accepting a time of day that is not perfect for me.Jaap,
  Thanks very much for the invite (that is, the if we can clear out the deadwood you are invited) :)   As I noted in my response to Eton, if I put in all of my preferences the available choices go to zero.  So, that means some compromise.  I do want to try 100% and 2 cars as I feel that is part of the point of racing less often.  I would certainly post in the thread you linked and advocate for a means to clear out inactive managers if I were going to try your league when that could be arranged.  I don't feel completely comfortable with doing so when I don't have that intention.  Good luck with that as it sounds like it might be an ongoing issue for many other leagues.Jake,
  Thanks for the good thoughts.  I will keep the league active for a few more days and see what further responses I might get.  If it doesn't look promising by, oh say, early next week then I will kill it and look for other alternatives.  As I noted, I am more than willing to regenerate the league with some other choices for days and times.Dave Bradley
