always poor qualifying but v fast and wins in race

this has me baffled

qualifying is always poor for me,my driver is good,xertainly much better than the other drivers infront of me.

come the race and im very fast,i have won all the races so far pretty easily  except one which was in the wet at monaco..i was so far back in qualifying.

any suggestions?

Tbh qualifiying is a little random. I've had level 14 drivers with maxed out physical, speed, attacking and defending, aswell as 80% cars, and they qualify worse than level 8 drivers with 50% cars who have maxed out nothing in training.

Most of the time there is no explanation, sorry to say.

im the opposite

I think talent is very important for qualy speed.
My new driver from the young driver academy has about the same pace in qualy, but loses 1-2 seconds per lap to his teammate in the race.

you are not the only one :]

Qualifying on hard tires will do that.

 my driver has 20 talent,q on softs same as everyone else an still get nowhere near pole,usually around 6-10th place.

my driver has much better attributes than the other drivers too..makes no sense whatsoever to me lol
