Earlier at a wet German iGP during a league race I noticed that the Intermediate tyres found magical pace after it reached50% wear. I was surprised by this and wanted to know if anyone else experienced this?

are you sure this wasnt because of fuel? I've never experienced tyres getting suddenly faster without it being down to fuel

it might be because your fuel was lower
